School Registrations

The following items must be presented if your child is entering school for the first time: birth certificate; immunization records for DTP, rubella and polio; certificates proving hearing and vision screenings have occurred; and if your child is transferring, a copy of the most recent academic transcript.

Drivers License

Newcomers from out of state need to purchase a Georgia's driver's license within 30 days of moving. Examiners are available on Wednesdays, at 119 Jones Street in Sandersville. The fee for a driver's license is $15 (cash only).

Voter Registration

To register for all elections, residents must be at least 18 years of age. Residents of Sandersville and Tennille can register at the registrar's office in the Sandersville Courthouse 552-5239.
Other county residents may register at the courthouse but should register at their local city hall for city elections.
