Residents of Washington County celebrate their heritage each year at the
Kaolin Festival. Known as the "Kaolin Capital of the World,"
Washington County is proud of the
solid foundation on which it is based.
People from all parts of the world gather to enjoy arts, crafts, antiques, music and food offered at this annual event during the second week of October. Joining friends and neighbors to commemorate the area's rich past and to celebrate the bright future are just a part of living in Washington County. The 2007 Kaolin Festival "Got Kaolin?" will culminate with the arts and crafts on the square on Saturday, October 13 at 9:00 a.m. The parade begins at 10:30.To request a vendor application contact Jennifer Farrin. Food and arts and crafts spaces are available. The Kaolin Festival Committee will meet May 29th. Come be a part of it all! Bows are available at chamber member florists. |
